About Stan

Background and Education. Now 45 years old, Stan was born in northern Poland in 1962, studied in Gdansk, fled communism in 1986, entered the United States legally in 1987 and became a naturalized American citizen. While working on full-time job, Stan studied at Northeastern Illinois University 1991-1996. He received his B.A. in economics and finance with highest honors (summa cum laude, GPA 4.0/4.0), and received recognition each semester for outstanding academic achievement in the Honors Program.

Residence. Since 2000, Stan has lived in Roselle in the 6th congressional district, in the Bloomingdale Township of DuPage County. He has two children, twins, a boy and a girl.

Professional Career. Stan’s outstanding record of employment includes a prominent business consulting firm, a major Chicago-based bank, and research on federal labor laws. He has also owned and managed his own small business.

Exceptional Skills. During both education and employment, Stan has developed excellent investigative and problem-solving skills, with a passion for truth and justice, and a strong orientation toward customer service. He has developed strong positions on the issues because he works in each case from a penetrating economic analysis of the problem.
